Sand Key's Stretch of Paradise, Public Parking, Martinis for Two

Sand Key State Park is a 95 acre waterfront park featuring a white sandy beach that is consistently rated as one of the top beaches in the US. Located at the northern tip of the Sand Key Barrier Island, Sand Key Park is just south of Clearwater Beach. It is an expansive beach, large enough to feel un-crowded on most days. The waters are usually calm, so you can enjoy swimming and rafting. This is a pristine beach, and a splendid travel getaway.

	While you may arrive at the park by car, many locals use their boats to go over to the island for an afternoon of play.
	Sand Key Park has showers, restrooms, concessions, and metered parking. There are also covered picnic areas, a paw playground, and wonderful views of the Gulf.
	With around two thousand feet of patrolled waterfront, the beach is a safe swimming area for the kids.
