Weekends are perfect for the city pier
I would have to say this is one of the better little city areas to navigate on a bicycle. Most of the streets have sidewalks, except for the back streets and those do not have any traffic. There is so much to do in this town, make sure you go to the city pier.

Every weekend is a beach weekend in Bradenton. Our town is a beach bum paradise, as you come out in your sandals and be prepared to hit a local beach bar late in the day. Yes, we drink beer here in Bradenton and are not ashamed of getting our drink on. One of our places to party is at the Memorial Pier. Called Mattison's Riverside, it is scenic and fun.
