Shark Valley Visitor Center
You can stop over at the Shark Valley Visitor Center. That is a good spot, just do not go when it is hot. I like touring different parts of Everglades National Park. It is pure nature, loads of kayaks too.

Take an Unbelievable Airboat through the Collier County Backcountry, this is some kind of special trip. You can fly through the water on these hot boats specifically design for this very purpose. If you want speed, just tell your captain. They try to make it the way you want. We actually like to kill the engine and get to know more of the nature. They will do that too.
