Pine Island is the best area for boating
In the old days we would go offshore and fish for grouper. Now we focus on the backcountry. If you do not know your way around the area be sure to get a map so you can understand the channels. Be careful and proceed slowly until you know the layout, many people do a lot of damage to both the boat and motor with all of the shallow flats around Pine Island.
