If you have not ever been on a kayak, this is your ticket to fun. This island is about two-thirds nature, where you cannot build. The waterways go right through. Kayak into the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge and you will see all sorts of critters (alligators, otters, birds, dolphins, and other wildlife). They live here and you paddle right in their front yard! They even have several miles of kayak pre-trimmed trails.
