A city filled with Outdoor Recreation Activities
Once you go around Bayshore Boulevard once or twice it will grow on you big time. For anybody that's in the fitness, like jogging or bicycle riding, this is the perfect place to stay.

Bayshore Boulevard Park Tampa
Good area, plus the bayshore boulevard sidewalk park. You have to see that long trail system. Plenty of room for jogging and bicycles.
