Boating to the beach bars
We like the boating for sure and you can't go wrong with Pinellas County. Fort DeSoto is probably the best area to use your boat. The ramp there is on the island and you are already at the foot of the Gulf. Further up the coastline you are near a myriad of boater friendly restaurants, and that is why we dump our boat in here.

Lots of Trailer Parking is Sweet

You are on your way to the best of Pinellas County Boating. We love to launch from here for fishing outings, to buzz along the beach, or to hit the myriad of boater friendly restaurants and beach bars. The park is huge and you can not really tell as you drive past on the way to the beaches.
