If you have children under 12, you do have to do a little extra planning to make sure the vacation goes perfectly for them too! We scouted out all of the local parks during our stay at the Casa Marina, and Astro Park was the best. The Glass Bottom Boat Ride suits all ages, while Commotion on the Ocean is best for older children. During the day, a family can all go into Sloppy Joes and hear live music in a tame manner. Children love Mel Fishers Treasures!

Picnic Parks here in Key West This is our picnic park and it is perfect. We do it right with burgers, chips, and homemade baked beans. Oh are so good with the leftover cut up onions, green pepper, that was for the eggs. I never thought before about adding fresh vegetables, but it works!

Very nice for Small Kids You get great views of Higgs Beach Park and Pier and can walk over for food, drinks, and more at Salute Beachside Restaurant next to the playground.
