It is easy just to lock your bicycle to anything that seems appropriate and out of the street. For example, you are just running into Fausto's Food Palace for some eggs,coffee, and beer. One would think, it would not be a big deal at all to lock the bike up to a tree. Unfortunately, that is illegal by traffic enforcement standards here in the city of Key West. Only lock up bike up to a bicycle rack. So, just be advised and you will have no problems.

Biking is great and just be safe Hi...Please take off the bike lock from my bike and toss it into your truck. It will be nice to make it difficult to steal our bikes in Key West, and your new one. This will be the Duval Street double lock combo, smart for a party city.
Just park it Correctly Please It is prohibited from locking a bicycle to a sign, tree, and other non-rack items. The Key West Parking Enforcement Officials can remove your bicycle, costing you valuable time going through the process of getting it back.
