You cannot miss this place, massive and right on US1 Oceanside. As a kid, we stayed at the Breezy Palms during the summer and do our fishing out of the Marina here. We love the zone and even got to know many of the local fishing charter captains. They know all the tricks and go that extra mile to help you have fun. Some guests even get lucky and have been part of record-book catches. This is a super bait shop too.
Mackerel and Black Tip Sharks Watch for the schools of Mackerel when you are fishing off the boat, as Black Tip Sharks are close behind. They are a lot of fun to reel in, we release them, and a real sporty fish to catch. It is something the way Black Tips hit the bait, such ferocity. Plan for plenty of fun during the sustained runs. Bring your catch to us at Lazy Days Restaurant, we have drinks too!
Boater Friendly Islamorada Sandwich Shop People on this island have a true passion and intensity for fishing and beer drinking! Loads of fun, take a charter from here or pick up bait at the dock, boater friendly. Sandwich Shop is open daily, closes early afternoon some time. Call ahead to be sure. Opens early for the fishing folks, then they go to happy hour at Chilly Willys!
