If you are vacationing to Captiva or Sanibel, the place to learn about the history of the islands is here at Ding Darling. The staff is so knowledgeable on everything that went into preserving such a Sanibel Island Treasure. The land area is worth millions, but kept the way it was intended by Mother Nature. A great park for families.

Please fix the bumpy road Good place for sure and a winner when the sun is not too hot out. The road is really bumpy, maybe they fixed that by now. We are going back next summer.
