Oh yes, it is a wonderful oceanside resort hotel. We stay there due to the summer discounts and the boating. Southwest Florida is a super spot for boating, you are going to love it. You have Pine Island, Sanibel, and Captiva to choose from. Or you can just use your own kayak or rent them for cheap at Tarpon Bay. Do not miss Ding Darling Park.

We enjoy all of the nature sightseeing by the water Many people do not realize all of the various places you can put a kayak and when you are here on vacation. Most people go ahead and rent them at Tarpon Bay, but they also sell those inflatable kayaks for dirt cheap. We bought two kayaks and just take ours with us. If you keep an eye on craigslist for a used to kayak, you can pick one up for $100.
