It is all down hill once you get past the downer of a toll booth. You start out over the giant and scenic bridge, which is part of the multi-beach area Causeway Park. We love it here and keep coming back each summer, which is the cheapest time for hotel rooms here.

What a fun Sanibel Video
We can start on board filming! I just love the islands and paying a little toll is no big deal for the dynamic nature of the shorelines.

Good Trip to the Island
From the dramatic drive on the causeway, you know it is going to be special here. We loved the sea-sprayed thriller boat ride. Take the bikes on some of back island roads to see the real island life.

Be Nice and Ask for a Discount
Summer is the least costly time to take a vacation on the islands, do not forget about Captiva. Negotiation is the key to lower costs, as what is offered is not what you can get if you are willing to negotiate over the phone ahead of time.
