We love all the fun here and the hotel provides a bunch of great options on its own. Having a great tool and quick access to the beach is one of the most important things to maximize your beach vacation to the island. The other key consideration is exploring as much of it from here to the end of Captiva that you can. Also be sure to use kayaks to get out on the water, rentals all are all over the place on both Sanibel and Captiva.

Plan for a Full Day of Activities We walked the beaches in the morning, periodically during the day, and took some nighttime strolls. You can quickly popped right over the Periwinkle Way on your bicycles, there is no need to drive.
